Selena Gomez is an American singer, actor and producer, which more followers on Instagram than anyone else in the world. In 2008, she founded her own production company, July Moon Productions, which most recently produced the Netflix teen drama, 13 Reasons Why, which aired in March 2017. Selena was executive producer.
Selena’s latest recordings to be released are three singles – Bad Liar, Fetish and Wolves – since May 2017. According to Billboard, to date she has sold worldwide over 7 million albums and 22 million singles: she is the magazine’s Woman of the Year for 2017, having undergone a kidney transplant in the midst of a busy year professionally.
Selena has a keen interest in beauty and fashion. Most recently, she designed and released a limited-edition collection of handbags called the ‘Selena Grace‘ in collaboration with luxury brand, Coach.
An active philanthropist, Selena is most well-known for becoming a UNICEF ambassador in 2009, when she was 17 years old. She is also an ambassador for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and supports A Day Made Better, the Alliance for Children’s Rights and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, among other charities.
