Lumio provided lamps that are ideal for reading books as prizes that were presented to worthy award-winners during a short ceremony at the Gala Party.

The Cuckoo Club

The Cuckoo Club organised a complimentary afterparty that followed the Gala Party.

Situated in the Mayfair-Soho border, The Cuckoo Club is a chic destination with interiors that are contemporary and lush. Recently refurbished in collaboration with Seventies design and style icon, Barbara Hulanicki of BIBA fame, The Cuckoo Club is one of the hottest nightspots for the people who enjoy the high life.

Voted the Best Boutique Club at The London Club and Bar Awards in 2009, The Cuckoo Club buzzes with a fashionable crowd, late night giggles, and a routine gathering of celebrities.

The Cuckoo Club lends an atmosphere of glamour and class to any brand or company event hosted there. The venue can be hired to accommodate over 400 guests over both floors and is flexible enough to host a variety of small or large events. The venue is also an exclusive private members’ club where people are invited to join by directors, committee members or existing members.

ECKOES

Rising star, ECKOES performed a set of her original songs at the Gala Party. Described by Tom Robinson, DJ on BBC Radio 6Music, ECKOES is ‘A gifted new London artist’. She is also described by BBC Introducing as having ‘A voice that makes the hairs on the back of our neck stand on end’

Christina has photographed celebrities such as Muhammed Ali, Fred Trueman, Bob Hoskins,  Samantha Janus, Frank Finlay, Jason Flemyng, Brian Cox, and many more. Her photographic commissions have  covered fashion stills on feature films, album covers, corporate portraiture, weddings, travel, food and interiors, but her main work is as a people photographer.

Christina was the official photographer for the Gala Party.

She has also illustrated books which include Susan Brooks’ cookery books, The Complete Guide to Pregnancy and Childcare, The Joy of Sex book covers, the Eurotunnel book of Northern Europe, and books on beauty subjects.

Hotel Café Royal

This luxury hotel in Regent Street, London, enjoys an unrivalled setting, where the elegance of Mayfair, energy of Soho and sophistication of St James combine. It’s where history, culture, business and the stage are just steps away. For 150 years, people who make a difference to the world have made their way through their doors.

Frequented by writers and artists such as Oscar Wilde and Aubrey Beardsley, the conversations, inspirations and discussions at ‘The Café’ were profound. Arthur Conan Doyle, H G Wells, George Bernard Shaw, Rudyard Kipling, W B Yeats, Walter Sickert and James McNeill Whistler were all patrons.

Distinguished figures such as Winston Churchill, Augustus John, DH Lawrence, Virginia Woolf, Noël Coward, Jacob Epstein and Graham Greene were also often seen.

This distinguished venue – with its rich history of famous patrons and guests – hosted the Jolabokaflod Gala Party on 2 February 2017

This large and grand format digital print company – based in Tilbury, Essex – produced a high-quality welcome board comprising sponsors’ and partners’ logos at an extremely competitive price for the Gala Party.
