Embraced by the Light
Betty J Eadie
(UK: HarperCollins, @HarperCollinsUK, 1992; USA: Bantam Books, @randomhouse, 2002)

‘I felt a surge of energy, and my spirit was suddenly drawn through my chest and pulled upward. My first impression is that I was free …’

On the night of November 19, 1973, following surgery, 31-year-old wife and mother Betty J Eadie died.

This is her extraordinary story of the events that followed, her astonishing proof of life after physical death. She saw more, perhaps than any other person has seen before and shares her almost photographic recollections of the remarkable details.

Compelling, inspiring, and infinitely reassuring, her vivid account gives us a glimpse of the peace and unconditional love that awaits us all. More important, Betty’s journey offers a simple message that can transform our lives today, showing us our purpose and guiding us to live the way we were meant to—joyously, abundantly, and with love.

Kim Kardashian West, Beauty Influencer and Reality Television Personality | Official website: KKW Beauty

Kim is an American media personality, businesswoman, socialite, and model. She first gained media attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton, but received wider notice after a 2003 sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J was leaked in 2007. Later that year, she and her family began to appear in the E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Its success soon led to the creation of spin-offs including Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami. She is married to the global superstar rapper, Kanye West (who doubles up as a singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer).

Kim is also known for being one of the most high-profile, successful, global influencers on social media, especially on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter: she has tens of millions of followers on social media. She is essentially one of the first people to recognise the power of social media to promote brands

After persuading President Trump to grant clemency to grandmother Alice Marie Johnson in June 2018, who had been convicted of a non-violent drugs offence, Kim has got the advocacy bug and is now studying law. Her father, Robert Kardashian, was a well-known lawyer and businessman, most famous for acting as defence attorney for his friend OJ Simpson in former NFL icon’s murder trial in 1995.
