Adventure calendar

Welcome to our Book Bulletin countdowns of celebrity book recommendations for summer and Christmas 2025.

This online ‘Adventure calendar’ works in a similar way as traditional, printed Advent versions. Instead of each window remaining unopened until the appointed date arrives, this Jolabokaflod CIC feature only reveals the next ‘Book of the Day’ recommendation on the appropriate day in the calendar, published one day at a time.

Here are some examples: three celebrity recommendations were given ‘Book of the Day’ status to mark the three trade days at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2017 (11 October | 12 October | 13 October).

Day by day, work your way down the links – as they appear – until you have covered every part of the picture.
